Meet the Miss WV USA Contestants
Representing Huntington is Aubree Ottaviano, age 17, a Mountain State native. Aubree is an avid writer and will be pursuing a career in journalism and broadcasting. She loves to dance, especially jazz and contemporary, and is a member of her high school dance team.
Her community service platform is to promote opportunities and awareness for those with unique abilities. As a volunteer and philanthropic supporter of Miss Amazing, a competition that believes that every girl deserves the chance to lead, Aubree is able to strengthen familial connections to help others increase their confidence, enjoy sisterhood, and have fun together.

Christian-Claire is a junior at the Calvert School. She maintains a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.6 weighted GPA. She has a genuine love of learning and is semi-fluent in four languages: Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. She is an accomplished, classically trained pianist, and a competitive tennis player; passions that have taught her discipline, resilience, and balance. Christian-Claire plans to study biology on the pre-med track at Georgetown University while competing on the university’s NCAA Division I women’s tennis team. She hopes to attend medical school and eventually specialize in the field of neurology.
Mattie Vandale is an Honors College student at Marshall University pursuing a degree in psychology with plans to become a clinical psychologist specializing in children and adolescents. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and earned President’s List recognition both semesters of her freshman year. Mattie previously served as Senior Class Vice President, National Honor Society President, and founder of the Helping Hearts community service club at South Charleston High School. Passionate about mental health advocacy, Mattie created her platform, Kitchen Tables, to encourage open conversations surrounding addiction, healing, and emotional support for children and families.
Gracia is an accomplished and well-rounded student who excels academically and in leadership.She maintains a 4.25 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society, Frech Honorary, and will serve as Senior Class Vice President. A dedicated leader, she is the founder and president of her local chapter of Girls With Glory. Gracia enjoys, dancing, modeling, and playing softball while remaining committed to volunteering. She is an active member of Simpson Creek Baptist Church, serving in the nursery and supporting Vacation Bible School. Grounded in her faith, she leads with purpose, discipline, and compassion for others in all areas.
Elizabeth is an 18-year-old high honors 2026 graduate of Cameron High School involved in cheerleading, NHS, HSTA, Student Council, Art Club, and 4-H. A dedicated community leader with over 1,000 volunteer hours, she created “Party with Purpose,” donating thousands of items to WVU Children’s Hospital in memory of her best friend, Hannah Woods. She also partnered with Eco Brothers Inc. to distribute 15,000 children’s books across West Virginia. Elizabeth serves as the 2026 WV Strawberry Festival Teen and plans to attend West Liberty University to pursue degrees in Dental Hygiene and Social Work after completing dual enrollment courses through WVNCC.
Micah Smith is a dedicated student, a proud member of Team USA baton twirling, a World silver medalist, and a fierce pageant competitor from a small town in West Virginia. She aspires to become an attorney and is committed to making a nationwide impact through her platform, “Be Someone’s Lifeline,” which promotes blood donation advocacy and education to encourage others to donate blood. She serves her community through volunteer work and leadership opportunities while striving for excellence in both academics and her sport. She is a proud advocate for using her voice to inspire action and compassion in others.

Grace Long is a student at Charleston Catholic High School, where she balances academics, athletics, and the arts while maintaining a 4.2 GPA as a member of the dance and track teams. In 2025, she earned first place in the 100-meter hurdles at the WVCAT State Track Conference. A competitive dancer since the age of three, Grace turned her love for dance into service through The Graceful Project, an initiative providing free dance instruction to 50 students at Health Right. She plans to attend Marshall University to study broadcast journalism and pursue a career as a television news anchor dedicated to highlighting the people and traditions of West Virginia.
