STATE FINALISTS
Caitlyn Stupi is a designer, entrepreneur, and creative-career mentor. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree while working full-time, graduating debt-free with a 4.0 GPA. Caitlyn founded a luxury stationery business specializing in custom, thoughtfully crafted paper goods. She believes the best use of knowledge is sharing it with others and volunteers to help students and professionals build accessible and achievable careers. Through mentoring and career-readiness programs, she has supported creatives across six continents and plans to become a Professor of Design. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, DIY projects, travel, and reviewing films.

Haley Robinson is a wife, mother, former Army Officer, real estate investor and farm girl at heart. She owns and manages a 200-acre cattle operation and contributes to regenerative food security initiatives through the Ranchise™ system. Haley also owns and operates an expanding affordable housing community inspired by her work alongside organizations focused on homelessness prevention and housing access. A graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Social Work, her life ambition is to love her family and others so deeply that the impact of that love continues long after she’s gone.
Hannah Cline is a television host at WCHS-TV and a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a degree in communications. She is sparking her skills in the WVU Electrical Technician Program and is excited to carry on her family’s love of transforming houses into homes. A two-time stage four childhood cancer survivor, Hannah has turned her journey into advocacy, collaborating with state leaders to advance survivorship programs and secure research funding. She has hosted fundraising events and remains focused on amplifying Appalachian voices while pursuing her goal of hosting an HGTV show on renovation and inspiring stories.

Sierra Elzey is a dedicated healthcare professional who supports a team of four eye doctors while balancing a busy family and coaching schedule. A proud mom to a sweet five-year-old who just finished preschool and is headed to kindergarten, she brings patience, energy, and warmth to both her home and workplace.
In the evenings Sierra coaches gymnastics, sharing her passion for movement and mentorship with young athletes. A retired all-star cheerleader, she spent nearly 18 years in the sport and earned numerous titles, experience that continues to inform her leadership, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
A future leader in the healthcare industry, mentor to fellow students, and an active community volunteer, Sarah Parrish is the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Senior Award in Healthcare Administration from the College of Business and Aviation at Fairmont State University. She now plans to obtain her master's degree and become a licensed nursing home administrator and was recently offered the role of graduate assistant. Selected for her leadership skills, speaking abilities, and success within her educational program, Sarah has a heart to serve others. Her goal is to make a lasting impact locally, at the state level, and beyond.

Athena proves you never have to choose between being a formidable leader and fiercely feminine. A proud veteran and decorated Marine Corps Staff Sergeant and Federal Agent, she managed complex felony level investigations while honorably serving her country. Now pursuing her Juris Doctor at WVU College of Law, she remains steadfast in her dedication to public service and the Mountain State. Grounded by her three Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, she thrives on versatility. Whether she is cheering professionally in the NHL for the Anaheim Ducks, hitting the ice to play hockey herself, or fighting for justice, Athena breaks every mold.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Katie Shields is a 25-year-old entrepreneur, photographer, content creator, and model with a degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Alabama. Now married and proudly competing in the Miss USA system, Katie is passionate about encouraging others to take bold leaps of faith through her initiative, Just Start, built around the belief that “ready is a decision, not a feeling.” Through motivational speaking and digital storytelling, she empowers women to pursue their goals fearlessly. As Miss West Virginia USA, Katie hopes to make history as the first married Miss USA representing the Mountain State.

Jamie Leigh Reichert is an award-winning actress, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate from Pineville, West Virginia. She recently graduated from Concord University and earned recognition on the Dean’s List as she prepares to pursue graduate study in clinical psychology. A graduate of Vancouver Film School with honors, she owns Tony's Painting and is a pilot in training. Reichert mentors young performers through Theatre West Virginia, partners with the West Virginia chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and is preparing to launch her podcast, Dealing With It: Healing, Hope & Honest Conversations, to inspire healing, hope, and resilience.
Layla Pence is a licensed Cosmetologist and owner of LP Beauty. She earned her license from New River Community and Technical College completing over 1,800 hours of clinical training. Dedicated to promoting beauty, confidence, and wellness, she extends her work beyond the salon through community outreach. Layla has provided complimentary haircuts to children and nursing home residents across more than 25 schools and care facilities throughout West Virginia. She plans to pursue a nursing degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and expand her services to include aesthetic treatments while upholding the highest standards of professional care.
Alicia Dalton-Tingler is a civil servant who draws on her chemical engineering and business background to tackle our nation’s energy challenges while serving her community through leadership and advocacy. After experiencing a missed autoimmune diagnosis, she encourages others facing invisible illness to trust themselves and keep seeking answers. Known for her warmth and quick wit, Alicia brings a joyful energy that puts people at ease. From emceeing events to bathing long-haired cats with questionable success, she believes grace and humor matter just as much as achievement.

Alanna Lynch is an Air Force veteran, communication graduate, and passionate advocate for sustainability and community impact. She earned her M.A. in Communication from Liberty University and her B.S. in Broadcasting from West Liberty University while receiving multiple military honors– including the Air and Space Achievement Medal and Distinguished Graduate recognition. Through her initiative, The Provisions Project, Alanna combats food insecurity by rescuing surplus food with a mission to “feed people, not landfills.” A former collegiate dance captain and third-generation farmer, she is passionate about agriculture, wellness, yoga, and service-driven leadership.
