ERIN WELLMAN
Miss West Virginia USA 2025

Erin Wellman – Miss West Virginia USA 2025

From the emergency department to the pageant stage, Erin Wellman is a woman on a mission to lead, heal, and inspire. Crowned Miss West Virginia USA 2025 on July 27 in Buckhannon, Erin captured the InterviewFitness, and Miss Photogenic awards on her way to the title.

A proud Mercer County native, Erin graduated as valedictorian of Princeton Senior High School, where she was student body president and dance team captain. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Psychology and Pre-Professional Healthcare Studies from Marshall University, graduating from the Honors College as a Certified Peer Mentor.

Currently working as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe, Erin is applying to medical school with the goal of becoming an emergency medicine physician. Her platform is deeply personal—she is a dedicated blood donor and American Red Cross advocate, inspired by the life-saving impact blood donation has had on her family and patients. During her reign, she plans to host at least four statewide blood drives.

Passionate about mentoring and empowering young women—especially those from rural and under-resourced communities—Erin strives to prove that dreams are valid, voices have power, and women can succeed in any field they choose.

When she’s not in scrubs or on stage, Erin enjoys singing, playing guitar, dancing, musical theater, reading, and fitness. She admires Dolly Parton for staying true to herself while giving back in meaningful ways, and she loves movies that celebrate strong women—her favorite being Legally Blonde.

Erin will represent the Mountain State at the MISS USA® competition, serving as an ambassador, role model, and advocate throughout her year of service.
